We are always situated front row, staring either blankly into the ether in an effort to not make eye contact with a single other human being or, alternatively, moaning. It’s too hot. It’s too late. Those bouncers. Etc etc. Luckily, we dispatch the wonderful Jason Lloyd-Evans each season to capture backstage in all it’s madness and beauty so we don’t have to. That, and he’s a very very good photographer. He’s intrepid. So intrepid, in fact, that this season he got punched in the face in the process. Which, he wants us to tell you, was wholly unprovoked.
