Cloud forms and fifties pin-ups, mixed with Rococo temptresses their swagged and bustled gowns bringing a sense of drama to the occasion. Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood presented a sensual feast with clothes sliding off the body or flirtatiously falling down. There were political statements – a t shirt dress in aid of a tiger sanctuary and plenty of the corsetry that has Westwood mega fans scouring vintage shops for. A tracksuit with A&V (Andreas and Vivienne) embroidered on the hip, string vests and fisherman’s trousers played into a world where dressing down is dressed-up too. Bella Hadid closed the show in a bustled white cloud gown, it’s light as air volumes whopped into the ultimate fashion reverie.
