Starting our Monday with a little film is probably the nicest way to ease from weekend to working week, short of taking some sort of prescribed medication. It being a backstage film about Andreas Kronthaler and Vivienne Westwood makes it even better – call it a bit of a closer look at the work relationship between our fav hubby and wife team and the process of creating their AW17 collection. Dame Viv gives us a run down on how Andreas approaches a collection and the importance that idea that isn’t complete until its built, in this case that idea being the fabulous fashions that were presented to us just a week ago in Paris. And, on an unseasonably uncynical note – getting a more intimate look at how a designer works and creates always reminds us why we love fashion and do what we do. Hopefully this film gives you the warm fuzzies it did for us.
