“Love a bear moment,” or so our dearly departed Editorial Director Mr Miles may have heard calling up from his basement lair. So, as if in a form of translatlantic goodbye, Michael Kors presented just that at his AW16 Menswear show – a bear moment. Or maybe we just can’t get past that first cardigan? Which is a bit like if you were to skin your childhood teddy and refashion it into a dapper looking piece of knitwear. And really, what man hasn’t been searching for a way to incorporate their juvenile bed buddy into their day-to-day wear? Especially when teamed with a natty pair of tweed trousers. Mr Kors knows exactly what us Ten boys are lusting after. And the rest? Well, it’s the classic men’s wardrobe, refined – a hybridisation of city and slope with plenty of added furry bits (“I love fur” he apparently said backstage). A ready-made wardrobe for a man who enjoys the finer things in life.
