It’s a case of ‘get the talcum powder out’ when it comes to Dior’s latest footwear offering – a pair of thigh-high, skin-tight vinyl boots, complete with a natty Perspex heel. As Raf described the collection they are, ‘something wilder, more sexual and strange.’ I say. But don’t be fooled by the ‘lady-of-the-night’ (my mother’s polite term) connotations – this is Raf’s house of Dior, after all, meaning they are woven with that special magic that makes us want every single thing that emerges from it. We probably can’t fit our masculine calves, let alone thighs, into these beauties – but for all of those who can, give them a try. You never know who you’ll become.
